General cargo ship built in 1944 the Ministry of War Transport as EMPIRE PITCAIRN by J Readhead & Sons Ltd , South Shields. Taken over by Navy and converted for use as an aircraft repair and maintenance ship -names HMS Moray Firth. After the war converted back to cargo ship and renamed Linaria. After a number of other owners and names was broken up in 1967

SS Brettenham was built in Dundee for the Ministry of War Transport as Empire Bard in 1941 and was a member of a number of Russian convoys.
After the war sold and renamed Angusburn until 1955 when sold again and renamed Brettenham. Scrapped in 1971
